Here in south Louisiana we fish alot of soft plastic for bass. There are lots of baits that will catch fish but when it gets tough I will tie on a Bass Assassin 6in red shad with green flake. It produces and has been my go to bait for years.

The Bass Assassin family is on the ball with the ever changing market. I have used there plastic lures for years and have always had great success. Thank you very much.

I took the fire tiger 4 inch swimming shiner rigged on a 3/4 oz red saltwater hook walleye fishing. It was a beautiful thing to behold. The swim action was superb. The walleye couldn't resist. I ened up catching a wheel barrow full of walleye, smallies and northern pike that day.

The Baby Shad (Silver Phantom S&P) is one of THE most productive lure on local creeks for bass. Top-water at dawn and dusk, worked slower and deeper during the day. The bigger version, same color, also works in the bay for halibut and other fun species.

Yesterday two of us went with Bo Berry (Hawg Gobbler Guide service) on Lake Bastrop in Central Texas. The bass were schooling and were picky about the size and color of baits. Bo used several combinations and we hit upon a white baby assassin and let is drift down. Those baby assassins made out trip. Thanks,

Dear Bass Assassin When I was a kid, we used Sportsman Super floater worms, they were 6” long and would float a 3/0 light wire hook, the bass would destroy these worms. About ten years ago the worms disappeared from the market, I have been searching for a soft plastic worm that would float, I tried several brands but they didn’t measure up. I decided to try some of your hand poured Charm Assassins, They are awesome they will float high in the water even when using a 4/0 hook. I live on Lake George which is part of the St. Johns River. I was born and raised here and have been fishing for well over 35 years. These are the best floating worms I have ever used, the bass have blown the worm 3 feet out of the water trying catch them. Thank You Paul Kerp Georgetown, Fl.

Since the weather keeps fluctuating, fishing has been a challenge. Trout are still feeding, but the trend has been taking two days of east winds to gather these fish back into bunches. Most of the fish have been scattered, but are of good quality. We have been encountering fish ranging from 17 to 22 inches. It seems that the preferred depth has been 3 to 5 feet of grass flats with big pot holes in them. Drifting live shrimp underneath a popping cork, and/or Cajun Thunder has made a big difference. If you can get that second day with the east winds, the Trout will move up on the flats to deeper pot holes. Redfish are on the flats, but the tide and area has been crucial. Live shrimp and small pinfish are working well. The best bait has been the Saltwater Assassin 4" Cocktail Shrimp in the pattern of chandelier isles with a 16th ounce mustad peghook. Worked extremely slow seems to be the most productive for these bruisers. Sheephead have been spotty. Live shrimp, mud crabs, or fiddler crabs have worked well. High water in the mid morning or early afternoon has been the most successful. Hopefully the weather will break and get things back to normal, in order for you to enjoy a nice day out on the flats, from Clearwater to Tarpon Springs. Thanks, Capt. Craig

I have used Bass Assassin products as far back as I can remember living on the Texas coast.I started guiding for a living 12 years ago. I really depend on on soft plastics in the cold winter months. Saltwater assassin make my job easier. I catch a lot of BIG speckled trout (up to 31" 11Lbs) on the 4" saltwater shad. Favorite colors Chick on Chain, Plum Char, Fire Tiger, Pumpkin Seed Char, Morning Glory and Glow Char. Color of choice for the day depends on water clarity at the time. The shad baits worked on the bottom verrry slow will catch more fish. Used with a 16th oz jig head these baits are deadly. THANKS BASS ASSASSIN

This product is amazing. Panfish Assassin lures have made my fishing career off the charts! They work 10 times better than live bait, it's amazing! I caught my personal best crappie (2 lbs) on this lure! Best lure ever!

When it comes to NJ striped bass fishing you have got to have a full arsenal of baits, soft plastics being one of them. I have used a number of "plastics" over my 30+ years and absolutely none of them compare to the action of the 6" Salt (Sea)Shads. My clients are simply amazed how the stripers hit these with wreckless abandon. The paddle tail action can't be matched by any other product, and the wobble adds even more to the overall movement of the lure. They are my "go to" lure, and I will not leave the dock without my Bass Assassins!

I have never used a better lure. I have been fishing bass assassin lure for the past four years and when it seems like nothing would work a bass assassin lure always did. Now it is the first lure that I use before I use anything else. Undeniably the best all around lure!!!! Thank you for your awesome lures.

Went fishing in Murphy, NC last week, pulled up on a lone pine tree in the water @05:00pm, to 07:00pm used your salt & Pepper Silver Shad. Caught 19, would have had 20 but one came unbuttoned at the boat. I love this bait and will be ordering more because I can't find them in the stores.

I went fishing a couple days ago with my cousin. well he thinks Zoom is the best. I tell him i bet i catch a bigger fish than you today. Well he put on his Zoom lizard and I but on my bass assassin lizaed. We threw about 2 feet apart well i was about to bring it in and got a hard hit. I set the hook. He pulled and pulled. I finally got him in and i weighted him. He weighted 8 pounds on the dot. My cousin never caught a bass any bigger than 2 pounds that day on his Zoom. I was catching fish 3 pounds in more. I am a true believer in Bass Assassin

The Saltwater Assassins have been a part of my fishing arsenal as a charter boat captain for over a decade. The new Blurp Baits have raised the bar. With more action than other scented baits, the Blurp Baits offer the best of both worlds, lots of action and lots of stink. These baits are the next big thing in Red Fishing and charter fishing in general. The hardest thing about using the Blurps is getting them past the trout!!!! Thanks.

Used pink pt2000, 5" salt water glow shad, swa29324, for the first time on Thursday, 12-18-2008, with a 1/4 oz lead head jig, and caught 11 red fish and 2 nice specaled trout. Could only keep 3 red fish, all were approx 28 " long, Texas limit. Bought on Wed, 12-17-2008 at Academy in Pasadena, Tx. Bought one pack for trial, going bak asap for more. Throw it out and let sink, and pop rod 2-3 times and let sink, and most strikes came on the fall, tried steady retreive, and not as much action, thanx, Doyle

I just want to say that the Saltwater Assassin Glow/Chartreuse 4" Sea Shad is the hottest bait I have ever used. A neighbor and I fished the last four days and boated 111 speckle trout, and five redfish. The marina did not have any of the Saltwater Assassin baits so I picked up some poor quality replicas. My neighbor used the relicas, and I used the Saltwater Assassin baits. He said "when the trout are bitting they will hit anything." That quote was made prior to me catching three trout to his one. Needless to say he switch over to Saltwater Assassin.

Here is a testimonial for you! I fish about 5 or 6 days a week and love using worms. I have used about every color out there and about every brand out there. I happen to grab a bag of your red pearl belly worms in Wal Mart one day, and I haven't quit catching about 5 bass an hour on them. MY GOD that is the best worm ever. I have caught about 30 to 40 bass in the last 2 weeks using this worm. The other day I was fishing some other colors and brands for about 30 minutes never got a bite. Said well I'm going to have to go back to old faithfull put on the red pearl belly, first cast caught a bass, second cast caught a bass then caught another one about 3 cast later then it got dark. Today, I was fishing and 3 other people were there with me. I fished some other colors and other brands for about 30 minutes again, only 1 nibble. The other people were using live shiners! and not catching anything. I said again time to return to old faithful. caught 2 bass in first 5 cast. And it continued for the rest of the evening. Caught 7 bass in an hour and half after switching. I was the only person to catch anything and only on those red pearl belly worms. And it has been that way for the last two weeks. You will start to see a rise in sales from the Mount Dora, FL WalMart on the red pearl belly worms, I'm going to buy all the bags they stock from now on. And its really been the only place that I have found them. Thanks for the great bait... Dan

No soft plastic jerk bait compares to Bass Assassin's 5"Shad. I've been using them now for perhaps 10 years and learned of them when I was a member and president of a 40 man bass tourney club. They simply out fish, out action any other lure of a similar nature. Two weeks ago my wife and I took 90 small mouth bass in two and a half days. We tried other brands and other colors when we ran out, none of them on the same body of water in exact weather conditions fished as successfully as the Bass Assassin Shad does. Simply put . . . it's the best on the market EVER ! Thanks a ton guys and gals !

Saltwater Assassin's Blurp is one of the best scented baits on the market. These baits work great for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder. My charters have caught trout over six pounds on these Blurps. The differents in the Blurps and other scented baits is, the blurps won't dry out on your hook between fishing spots. They also have great action and keep their action cast after cast! Try some today, you will be glad you did, trust me! Capt. Jot Owens

I am retired and fish, almost exclusively with plastics, 3 days a week at least 3 weeks every month in the South Louisiana salt marshes. I have found that the salt water shad to be the best plastic I have tried yet. Exceptional flex allows tail motion even with the slightest forward pull. The limetruse tail and body color is perfect for the slightly tinted water found in the 6"-4' of water I fish in. Trout like clear water but will still bite very well using these baits if the water is tinted and also in the early and late evenings (Read, almost dark). I'm completely satisfied with them.

I have used a lot of plastics in my 20+ years as a Guide/Professional Angler/Outdoor Writer and am amazed at the great varieties of baits Assassin has in the line-up. Most of all they all work very well. While a vast amount of anglers are hooked on the new Blurp scented baits I will work the traditional baits as well. I find the change-up catches the fish in areas that have allot of pressure will respond better to different colors, styles and actions on a daily basis. Assassin helps me do that better than any other plastic line I have ever had. Thx Robin & Teresa for producing the best line of baits on the market. Capt. Dave

I have an awesome fishing spot on a private lake in North Carolina where I have caught numerous 4 and 5 pound bass. I bought a pack of your 11-inch black worms to see if could attract something a little bigger. I was fishing some pads in about 3 feet of water, and on only my third cast of the day I hooked a 9 pound hog. This is a great product that I can not wait to use again. Thank you.

I have been fishing out of the big bend area for some 30 years, and I have to tell you that using the 5 in. saltwater shade (glow/fire tail) fishing the drop offs on the end of the out going has been very productive for nice size trout . I would work the tail slow casting up current leting it fall back to me . I some times get fish on every cast. I try while the fish were on the snap different baits and no hits , swich back and bam.So thank you for all the hunderds of big trout, and I am looking toward a great fishing season this year.

Soft plastics are my mainstay and I've been fishing Assassin for over a decade. Inovativation and cutting edge design give all anglers the edge they need to "Catch More and Larger Fish". My partner Capatin Jim Ross and I are proud to say Assassin is the exclusive soft plastic sponsor of our "Indian River Fishing Academy". Try 'em and see why we believe they are the best your money can buy! Tip: Rig a Cocktail Shrimp with a 5/0 wide gap hook weedless, no weight. "Slow glide it over pot holes and let it fall as you come into the hole, then hang on! Captain Russ Rivers www.irfac.com

Your 4" Sea Shad Glow has been the most productive lure I have ever fished here in the backwaters and flats of Homosassa, FL. In 0 to 3 ft. depths for Trout and Redfish, I nose hook this lure with a 2 live bait hook (wife 2 circle hook) and fish as a jerk bait. In fast water or water over 3 ft. I fish this lure on your Bass Assassin 1/8 oz. jighead. All species eat this lure. That being said, on a recent trip to New England I decided to try this lure in fresh water on a jig head. The weather was terrible and the streams and rivers swollen and muddy.

However, in about a total of 1 hour of fishing in 3 different streams I caught the largest Rock Bass I've ever seen, a Yellow Perch, and in some fairly clear water, 2 Large Mouth Bass and the biggest Small Mouth Bass I've ever seen.
